August Rent Update

The NMHC Rent Payment Tracker found that 79.3 Percent of Apartment

Households Paid Rent as of August 6. Rent payments are down 1.9% (223,000) from August 6, 2019 yet still lead July 6, 2020 rent payments by nearly 2%. This is a positive indicator for the future given unemployment benefits were renewed this past weekend. We will continue to monitor this closely and provide an update at the end August.
